Success Takes Time

Don't Give Up On Your Dream

La-La Made It

Social media is definitely a blessing and a curse. It's beneficial for keeping in touch with friends, looking at hilarious videos, and even staying on top of news and trends. However, the overwhelming amount of media that we consume can be detrimental to our self-esteem. Social media is ultimately not real all the time.

There are endless amounts of people on the internet who continuously flash their successes in our faces but never their failures. As media consumers and people are reaching instantaneous success, we're grinding to get there. Although, as I said, social media isn't real. Influencers aren't going to show their failures.

They aren't going to show the days when they almost lost hope. They aren't going to tell us that it took them a long time to get to where they wanted to be. That's not what gets likes from those who like to ogle at their possessions and the versions of themselves they choose to show us. That's why you can't forget what it means to live in the real world; you have to keep working towards your goals and be true to yourself.

Determination and perseverance are how you strive toward your dreams. It can be simple to think, "I wish there was an easy way to obtain my career, financial, or life goals." However, easy ways out don't translate into long-term success. Anyone who has long-lasting success in achieving their goals understands that it takes hard work and perseverance to get there. At the end of the day, never give up on your dreams, because hard work certainly does pay off.

You are steps away from your purpose - keep walking in your blessing and don't give up
